Along with Paul's description of marriage in Ephesians 5, I've always loved the picture that Peter paints for a successful marriage in 1 Peter 3:1-7. As I told my daughter and son-in-law prior to their marriage, marriage is the hardest, full-time job you'll ever have that requires you to give everything in your heart to make the other person feel as if they are everything in your world!
