Where is your perspective when facing all the walls, mountains, challenges and obstacles in your life?
Do you look horizontally and focus on what you see?
Do you look around and only take note of what is within your reach?
Do you look at your bank ledger and wonder how you're going to make it happen?
Or, do you look up and see things from God's perspective?
I was struck this morning when reading the account of Christ feeding the 5,000 in John 6. When Christ asked Philip "where shall we buy bread, that these may eat," the next line jumped out at me when it said 'But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do.'
You see Philip looked around and saw the people and couldn't see the possibilities of what God could do with five loaves and two fish.
Christ looked to His Father and knew that ANYTHING is possible when God is in it.
Philip was focused on WHAT he knew.
Christ was focused on WHO he knew.
Perspective. It's a life changer - just like God.
